Springing from a self help group formed in Abergavenny in the 1980's, Mind Monmouthshire has grown to provide a point of contact, information and a wide range of services for people experiencing mental ill health across the county of Monmouthshire.

The culture of the self help group endures.  Many of our trustees are people who have experienced mental health services as users.

Consultation on development or change, large or small, is done with the people who use our services.

We endeavour to put the needs of the people who use our services at the heart of our practice and development.
