Mind Monmouthshire has been successful in receiving a grant from the National Lottery Community Fund for an innovative Rural Workers Project, the only one of its kind in Wales. The project supports those in the farming community and allied industries in a wide range issues. Referrals can be made directly to the project.

How we can help
We offer regular face to face appointments at a place of your choice to:
Talk to someone, be listened to
Support you to interact with other professional bodies e.g, Family Services and Farming Network Services
Liaise with other agencies and assist with paperwork
Assistance to apply for benefits
Support to attend meetings and make phone calls
Help to apply for grants
A listening ear with an understanding of farming and rural pressures
Opportunity to develop better coping strategies
Access to counselling services
Advocacy
Knowledge of the farming sector and support available through grants and agencies
Our service is open ended and driven by the individual. It's discreet and confidential.
