Trustees roles and responsibilities

As a trustee of mind Monmouthshire Ltd your main responsibilities are to ensure that the charity and it's representatives function within the law and within the regulations of the Charities Commission. You are also expected to abide by the organizations governing document. In undertaking the role of trustee you are obligated to undertake duties in a way that adds to the public confidence and trust in Mind Monmouthshire Ltd. You will also be instrumental in the direction and development of the charity through good governance and clear strategic planning. You must also at all times maintain confidentiality/sensitivity with regard to the information that you will receive.

Duties
As a trustee you must act in the best interest of the charity at all times. You will also help the charity to grow and promote it's relevance in the community. You will also be instrumental in the effective smooth running of the charity, making the best use of time and money, whilst maintaining the highest standard of practice.
