There are some limited opportunities to volunteer with Mind
Monmouthshire.

Counselling

Mind Monmouthshire has a small counselling service staffed by volunteer counsellors all fully qualified to diploma level with membership of BACP. Please follow this link for details of our counselling service.

From time to time we need additional counsellors. We are able to offer payment for supervision and expenses and a supportive working
environment. Working with Mind Monmouthshire is a great opportunity to broaden experience. CRB checks and references will be taken up.

Student Social Work Placements

We have considerable experience of offering successful placement s for student social workers. This is limited to one placement at any given time.

Trustees

We have a few opportunities each year for individuals interested in, and preferably with direct experience of mental health issues, who would like to become trustees of Mind Monmouthshire.
