Chepstow Gold Adult Touch Rugby Joins forces with Local Mental Health Charity Mind Monmouthshire

The club fundraised through the pandemic by posting an incredible 100 exercise videos which raised £1000. The money has been split donating equipment to the junior section of Chepstow Rugby Club and £500 has been donated to Mind Monmouthshire.

Matthew Pritchard, Business Development for Mind Monmouthshire said

“Thank you to everyone who donated and fundraised, this money really helps us as a local charity to continue and develop services. Through working with the club, we hope to reach out and connect with people who may need our support, along with providing individuals we already support with opportunities to get involved too. We are excited about this new partnership.  We know physical activity is good for the body and mind, so if you’re over 40 and wish to have a go at touch rugby contact the club.   They put fun first and you don’t have to of played any sport before too”

Nick Pearce, Chepstow Gold
