Chris Bowie, Chief Exec said

we appreciate that it’s been a tough year for everyone, ourselves included, and it’s important now to take some time to reflect that, despite not having a handbook of how we should get through lockdown, we have got through it.  Our staff are going to be in the community with information about all the services we provide which can help people to look after their mental well-being.  Our services have been operating over Zoom and the telephone, and some of that will continue, but we’re keen that once face to face courses can start, that people know about them and are able to access them.  All our courses are free, and people can ring and book a place, they don’t need a referral from any agencies. “

As part of Mental Health Awareness Week Mind Monmouthshire are launching their spring and summer programme with a whole host of support being made available including:

  • Anxiety Management

  • Confidence Building,

  • My Generation (Activity and Wellbeing Group for over 50 years),

  • Fortnightly Peer Support groups and Quiz

  • Our **New** Life after Lockdown Course, Walk and Talk Groups

  • Face to Face Information and Advice sessions are available with our Information worker Adele.

  • A paid for counselling service is also available
